Moving Everywhere

Cooper is now moving freely on the floor.   Before he could only move backwards and spin around, this kept us busy moving him when he got stuck.  Now, we are busy keeping him out of everything.  He loves combat crawling into the kitchen, the bathroom (where the cat food is) and under the steps (to play drums on the paint cans).  Ellie has learned to either stick out her leg, as he can’t get over it yet or to build multiple rings of blocks or Legos as a defence of her real project that she doesn’t want destroyed.

Zoo

This was our first family outing to the zoo with Cooper.  Thanks to Papa and Oma for the Christmas gift card for the zoo passes.  We had a great day, Cooper was very good and Ellie saw many of her friends at the zoo.  We didn’t even know they were going to be there.  Ellie also took this picture of the lizard to share with everyone.  The best thing we did was walk around the zoo the opposite way of everyone else and it felt like we had the zoo to ourselves all morning.

Cooper Outside

It has been hot here lately and Cooper is enjoying being outside.  He is busy moving around and loves to go after the cat.

Moving Foward

Today, for the first time Cooper moved forward under his own strength!  No pictures yet but Victoria did get some video of him moving with a lot of commentary from Ellie.
