Messy Cooper

Cooper loves his food!  I do wonder how much actually makes it into his mouth.   He always wants to feed himself and this day was no different.

Cooper Things

Cooper has changed so much over the last month.  Not only is he signing words and making up his own signs for words, his vocabulary is improving.  He is saying; Ellie, Mummy, Daddy, eat (I think his favorite word), up, more, please, out, cracker.  He has also started rolling from one side of the room to the other.  When he sees one of us getting ready to leave he will go to the shoe drawer and pull out his shoes. He loves music and has a fascination with one of Ellie’s music boxes.  Cooper has seen us clap loudly at the cat to stop him from doing bad things and now when Cooper thinks the cat is doing something bad he will clap at him.

Sitting High

Cooper is like the cat, always trying to get higher.  He will sit on anything that raises him off the ground.  He can’t get on the couch yet but he will sit on the play rug when it is rolled up, on a box or on the computer lap desk.  Here he is sitting on his trolley.  He will just sit there, look around at what is happening and then just throw himself off to go somewhere else to cause destruction.

Not Feeling Well

A few weeks ago, Cooper wasn’t feeling very well.  He normally doesn’t sit still and doesn’t care about the TV but this day he didn’t want to do anything. (The TV remote is a completely different matter, he loves that!)

Cat Door

Cooper keeps checking the cat door.  He uses it more than then the cat does.  We have found drink bottles, Legos, blocks, toy cars, and his tooth brush on the other side of the cat door.

Toy Oven

Copper loves climbing through the toy oven.  Sometimes he will bring blocks and books in and other times he will just sit inside.  If you slowly close the doors, when he is sitting inside, he will wave and say “nighty night”.
