This was our first camping trip since Cooper was born. We went with one other family and kids had a
ton of fun. Our tents were one sand dune
away from a great surf beach. Cooper
loved playing, rolling, and jumping in the sand. While he didn’t go in the water, he played at
the water’s edge and built sand castles.

Modeling
Cooper likes being photographed. Actually he likes looking at his photos much
more than being in front of the camera.
He will see me take a picture than run to see if he was in it. If he wasn’t he will pose for the camera,
just to see himself. Cooper had the
chance to be a model for the recent photo campaign I did for Monster Merino. I think he liked all the snacks the kids had a
lot more than posing!

Ellie's Birthday
Cooper was so confused in the morning. He so wanted to open the presents and for us
to sing Happy Birthday to him. Poor
guy! He was excited to see balloons
everywhere. He also asked to wear his “Party”
shirt.

Never A Clean Window
Victoria tries very hard to keep our house looking amazing
but with two small people she has to be fast.
Cooper can’t keep his hands off the glass on the sliding glass
doors. This morning I was watching him
and he didn’t know it, he was way too busy.
He was licking his thumb then painting on the window! Yes, first I took the picture then told him
to stop. Priorities: photos for blog
first, stopping the kids second.

Funny position
Cooper thinks this position is very funny. He shows it off to everyone he can. I am not sure how or where it started. Sometimes we all join Cooper in his funny
position, which gets him very excited.

Skate Park Treat
At the skate park, the ice cream van comes around right
before lunch time. I normally don’t let
the kids have an ice cream but this time was different, Ray was there with
us. He is a good friend and a Dad to the
friends we were there with. There hasn’t
been a time we have been with him that he has passed up the opportunity to get ice
cream if it is around.
We have been trying to go to the skate park at least every
other week. The kids are getting much
better. Cooper still rides his little
pink 3 wheeler that he is too big for even though we bring his balance bike
each time. Ellie is riding her scooter
very well and can now ride it around the bowl and up on the walls. The first time there she would barely ride
her scooter around the park and didn’t ride in the bowls.

Makeshift Pool
One afternoon, Cooper kept coming in the house to ask for
more water. It was hot out, so I didn’t
give it much thought. Then I went
outside, I found he created a pool for his bath toys.

Eyes Closed
Cooper loves having his eyes closed. He will try to walk around the house and bang
into thing, he will swing with his eyes closed and even spin around in circles
(many, many times) with his eyes closed.

Growing Toys
When Ellie and
Cooper’s good friends returned from their Christmas holiday in South Africa
they gave both of them little boxes filled with growing safari animals. Cooper traded Ellie for the blue ones and
each time they were surprised by the animal that appeared.

Family Beach Time
The kids had
been asking to go to the beach before we left.
We packed up food, towels, sand toys, and headed off to the beach to
enjoy a great sunny California day. We
even found a sand crab that spent some quality time in Ellie’s snack box.
