Sitting in a Basket

Cooper was happy and comfortable in his basket bed.  While it wasn’t his idea he was a really good sport and played along.  In the end he didn’t want to get out of it!

Lego Boat Competition

One night we came up with the idea of actually sailing our Lego creations.  We set a time limit of 10 minutes to build each boat.  The goal was for the boats not to sink in still water.  Cooper and I built two boats and Ellie built one.  The kids were so excited to see what was going to happen.  They all floated in still water and then during the wave test, Ellie’s tipped over.  She went and modified her boat and we tried again.  It was a fun and wet evening. 

Dress-up

Once again, it’s dress up time!

Photography Locations

Ellie, Cooper and I went on a little location scouting trip for one of my upcoming photography session.  We discovered a new park and went to a beach that we haven’t been to for quite a while.  The kids had fun running around exploring paths and bridges.

Little People

Victoria pulled out the Little People set and the kids loved it.  It was the first time Cooper really played with it!  Ellie was busy showing Cooper how everything works and he was busy showing Ellie how the people went through the door.

Black Sand Beach

We are lucky to have so many beautiful beaches around us and in around 30 minutes we can get to the other coast with black sand beaches.  We went to some friends to their local beach for dinner and a local concert.  Ellie couldn’t wait to see a black sand beach again. (She couldn’t remember the last time she had seen it.) Cooper found out the hard way, that the black sand doesn’t taste good and makes you very dirty.  Ellie knew that her friend’s sister had the same shirt as her and wanted to be twins.  It was a great night.
